A pool liner is an important part of your above ground pool but it can also be part of the pools beauty. There are many types of designs and styles of them – we hope to help you understand the different kinds as well as show you where you can buy an above ground pool liner.
There are a few different types of vinyl ones for above ground swimming pools: they are the overlapping pool liner and the beaded pool liner. So what is the difference? The difference is in how the liners are held in place.
The overlapping pool liner is held in place because the liner is folded over the edge of the pool and secured in place under the top rail. (You will see a small amount of liner under the top rail of your pool)
The beaded type of swimming pool liner is snapped into a thin groove at the top edge of the pool, under the top rail of the pool. This is kind of like the sandwich bags that have the snap closed seals. The average above ground pool liner is 20 gauge but can also be purchased in a tough 30 gauge.
Swimming pools are one of the more expensive investments you can make. Whether you have an in-ground or aboveground swimming pool, you need to take care of your pool properly to ensure that you enjoy the most out of this kind of investment. However, regardless of how much care and maintenance you put on your swimming pool, repairs are inevitable. If your swimming pool requires small repairs, you may be able to undertake the task yourself. Thus, it is a good idea to have a swimming pool repair kit on hand.
